The AutoScanner® Plus with CodeConnect™ starts out functioning like many other scan tools. After going through a series of screens to select the mode and model information for your vehicle you will see the screen below, click enter.

 

On the main menu screen “read codes” is highlighted, click enter again.

 

Now you have retrieved the Diagnostic Trouble Code, you will see the word ‘code’ vertically highlighted on the right. When the word Code is highlighted, it means that database content is present for the code on your vehicle.

 

To obtain the Code Connect™ repair information simply push the center blue button marked “CodeConnect.” After pushing the CodeConnect™ button, a list of top reported fixes for the codes that are available for your vehicle will appear to guide you through the repair.
